Osteomyology describes exactly what we do, we are multi modality practitioners working with bone (joints), muscles, ligaments, tendons and nerves, using the appropriate discipline that we are qualified in and are available to us, to bring relief and healing to our patients.
Remedial Massage Neuromuscular Massage, Mobilisation, Manipulative Therapy, Sports Therapy, Electrotherapy, Reiki, Thermo Auricular Therapy, Crystal healing, plus many more are all brought together under the banner of Osteomyology. Osteomyologists are fully qualified in many different complimentary modalities. This means that the practitioners has "many strings to their bow". Obviously there is no such thing as a panacea or "cure all" for every condition, if that was the case then that would be the only modality used and there would be no need for any others. But unfortunately the human body is more complex than that, and what may suit one person may not suit another. With the Osteomyologist having many modalities at their fingertips if one system doesn't work then the practitioner can move seamlessly to another. Unlike some practitioners that study only one form of treatment they may have to refer the patient to someone else.
